Pada saat insiden, Justyn Vicky didampingi oleh seorang pengawas saat mencoba mengangkat barbel.

Video yang beredar di media sosial menunjukkan Justyn menempatkan besi barbel di bagian punggung atau bawah leher, dengan pengawas berdiri di belakangnya.
3. Saat berusaha berdiri setelah duduk, Justyn Vicky tidak mampu menahan beratnya beban barbel dan terjatuh ke belakang, menyebabkan leher belakangnya tertekuk oleh besi barbel.
4. Meskipun Justyn Vicky berusaha keras untuk mendorong barbel agar terlepas dari lehernya, upaya tersebut tidak dapat menyelamatkan nyawanya.
Ia sempat dilarikan ke rumah sakit, namun nyawanya tidak tertolong.
5. Sebagai bentuk penghormatan, The Paradise Bali juga mengunggah pesan penghormatan untuk Justyn Vicky di akun Instagram mereka.
