Perhelatan The Game Awards 2017 yang digelar di Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat pada tanggal 7 Desember lalu memberikan lebih  23 penghargaan kepada seluruh developer dan publisher video game dari seluruh dunia.

Tidak hanya memenangkan Game of the Year saja, Breath of The Wild juga memenangkan penghargaan Best Action/Adventure Game.
