Penghargaan ini diberikan kepada para wajah baru di industri musik yang dianggap mampu meraih prestasi gemilang di awal kariernya.

Uniknya untuk penghargaan yang satu ini, fans sendirilah yang menentukan siapa pemenangnya!

Begitu hasil voting yang masuk dari para penggemar sudah final, nominasi penghargaan ini akhirnya dibacakan oleh para personel Fifth Harmony yang meraih penghargaan ini di tahun 2014.

Nah untuk tahun ini, penghargaan Best New Artist jatuh kepada DNCE!
